Five services cover residential and commercial tracts between the Brazos River and the Tarrant line.

Our land clearing service removes brush, trees and stumps. Slabs, wells, septic and demolition belong to the neighbors I send you to.
Lot and Acreage Clearing for New Homes in Springtown and Willow Park
The county permitted 312 single-family homes in 2025 by the Census Building Permits Survey, and that understates the work, because rural counties in Texas do not require a permit outside city limits. Master-planned communities on the east side are developer work. Our residential jobs are the homeowner on five to forty acres of old ranch ground near Springtown or Peaster who wants a pad, a barn and a stock pond, and property owners doing property development a tract at a time along FM 1187.
A half-acre wooded lot is one skid steer day, $2,800. Commercial development pads along I-20 are land clearing projects priced by the acre.
Forestry Mulching and Brush Clearing Across Parker County
Eight acres of mesquite and post oak pasture here is the job I quote from most. Two days, $8,400, and the owner runs a bush hog over it each June for the seedlings. Our mulching services take the mesquite root crown to grade: cut above it and the tree comes back as ten stems. The mulch goes down three inches along the fence line and holds the sand against erosion, and post oaks over 8 inches stay.
I wrote brush plans for twelve years. The brush never read one. So clearing brush is selective clearing by the stem: we remove unwanted vegetation, greenbrier undergrowth and mesquite, and leave the oaks. Removing vegetation this way puts the wood back as mulch, not in a pile, so a burn ban never stops the job. No pine and hardwood understory here; that is Lindale work. Defer grazing one season after a reclaim and the pasture carries more animal units.

Terrain, Soil and Vegetation Near Lake Weatherford and the Brazos River
Parker County is Western Cross Timbers: post oak and blackjack oak on deep sand, with mesquite wherever a pasture was grazed hard and left to overgrow. The Brazos River runs the west side with pecan woodland in the bottoms, and that corridor is mapped floodplain. Near Lake Weatherford the ground is the same sand with a few clay pockets, and a pond on sand needs a clay core. Site conditions on sand are the best we work: the mulcher runs the day after a rain.
On our jobs along US 180 I log two to three acres a day in young mesquite.
Burn Bans and Other Rules Before Clearing Land in Parker County
Three rules govern clearing land throughout Parker County, and none is a state permit. The county judge or commissioners court declares a burn ban, and TCEQ outdoor burning rules govern every pile. The county issues floodplain development permits where FEMA maps the Brazos, the Clear Fork of the Trinity and the lake tributaries, so excavation and grading there wait on paper. Aledo and Weatherford have tree rules inside city limits.
By Texas A&M Forest Service guidance, February to June is the oak wilt window. I have not nicked a live oak in that window since 2015, and the crew knows why. Ask Teo for the FEMA check when you book.
Areas We Serve in Parker County
Weatherford and Aledo each carry their own page. Our service area also covers Springtown, Willow Park, Hudson Oaks, Peaster, Poolville and Millsap. Serving Parker County from the yard is 10 to 30 minutes, so land clearing services in Parker County book one day at a time. Parker County's north end sends the most mesquite calls on the west side of Dallas-Fort Worth.
